A Substance Abuse Group for Teens and Young Women struggling with
Drugs & Alcohol
Facilitated by Licensed Master's Level Social Workers
• Twenty-four (24)-week, semi-intensive outpatient program
• The group will begin with twice a week sessions and graduate to once per week sessions.
• Participants will participate in individual sessions.
• Families will be incorporated into treatment as well - when appropriate.
• Participants will be required to attend two to three 12-Step meetings per week.
In these treatment sessions, participants will be provided with information, resources, and education that will support them in getting clean and staying clean.

VOICES Empowerment Group for Girls
Facilitators: Anna Nelson, LISW & Jenn Davis, LMSW
This dynamic gender-responsive twelve-week course offers girls ages 14 to 20 innovative skills in healing from trauma and increasing resiliency, self-esteem and positive development. During the course girls will create a toolbox designed to assist in:
• Knowing about difficult feelings, what causes them and choices for handling them.
• Seeing the causes for stress and finding ways to cope with stress.
• Learning ways to talk to parents, peers and other important people in their lives.
• Loving themselves and their bodies.
• Finding out more about teen dating violence, how to spot it and get safe.
• Being open to finding and being in safe relationships.
• Finding ways to deal with grief and trauma.
• Building healthy and sober living skills, including 16 Steps for Empowerment.
• Relapse Prevention
• Triggers and Coping Skills
