ANGELA P. MAES, LCSW. Angela is the Owner & Clinical Director of Healthy Families. She is a licensed independent Social Worker with a certification in EMDR by the EMDR Institute. She is a proud volunteer of Give an Hour - a program established to provide free mental health counseling services for military & their families. She has extensive training in Trauma & Abuse and has developed classes and programs for Anger Management, Building Self-Esteem.

Lucia Bisbee, LMSW
Lucia is a therapist who works with individuals, adolescents (ages 13 and up) and families. Lucia has a background in crisis intervention, trauma counseling, attachment, mindfulness and substance abuse treatment. Lucia's therapeutic focus is regaining intimacy and forming secure relationships, improving positive self-image, and creating healthy attachments after traumatic experiences.
Susanne Drury, PhD.
Susanne Drury has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from University of Chicago. She is a Certified Expert Trauma Professional and is Certified in EMDR and trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Internal Family Systems. Her goal to help people get their lives back when they have experienced depression, anxiety , or trauma. She encourages people to treat themselves with compassion while they heal the wounded parts of themselves.
Patrick Ficke, LMHC
Patrick Ficke is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who graduated from ENMU with a B.A. in Psychology & Criminal Justice. He received his Master's in Counseling from Wayland University. Patrick previously worked in law enforcement as a crisis negotiator & crisis intervention officer--working with law enforcement officers, military, veterans, adolescents, couples, & families. He supports the individual's intellectual, emotional & physical development through a supportive, safe treatment.

Jaysa Jones, B.U.S., MSW-LCSW, Curandera, has studied massage therapy & other healing modalities and practices as a Traditional Healer & Clinical Social Worker. Jaysa is a native New Mexican & has been practicing for 7 years. Jaysa specializes in working with Transgender/LGBQI individuals & brings a lifetime of cultural knowledge & experience to Healthy Families. Jaysa enjoys working with those with anxiety, depression, & other stress related disorders & honors every opportunity to help others.
Susan Klebanoff, LMSW
Susan graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a BFA and received her master’s degree in Social Work from New Mexico State University. As a licensed social worker Susan utilizes as strengths based, solution-focus approach to treatment and has extensive experience with substance abuse as it manifests in the family dynamic.

Robert Lewis, MA/LMFT is a Marriage and Family Therapist trained in family systems & EMDR. An experienced therapist, Robert has 30 yrs experience working with diverse populations. Robert specializes in couple's therapy teaching effective communication skills and relationship enhancement. Additional areas of expertise are in addiction work and treating mood disorders, anxiety and depression. Robert has unique experience, having worked at District Court for several years as a clinician/mediator.
Bruce Lindsey, LCSW
Bruce Lindsey, LCSW, has worked in a variety of clinical settings including residential treatment centers, juvenile justice programs, & the treatment of foster care children. He has worked with a variety of diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorder and other special needs. Bruce is currently employed as a school social worker at Albuquerque Public Schools. Bruce was educated at Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania and received his Masters of Social Work degree at Simmons College in Boston, MA.

Robert graduated from the University of New Mexico with a B.A. in Psychology and Communication and received his master's degree in Counseling from the University of Phoenix. Robert works with children, adolescents, couples and families and believes that individuals cannot be understood in isolation from one another, but rather as part of their family.
Judy Willmore, LPCC
Originally from Pasadena, CA, Judy is a professional writer & editor who moved to New Mexico in 1996 to pursue a career in mental health. She received her MS in Clinical Psychology from New Mexico Highlands University and has since been working with adolescents and adults specializing in PTSD, depression, grief, & spiritual issues of all kinds. Judy is trained in EMDR and cognitive behavior therapy, and enjoys working with clients from all religious and cultural backgrounds.

Daniela enjoys working with people from all walks of life, especially children, adolescents and families, and believes true healing happens in the relationship context. She works from a strengths-based, client-centered perspective, and has experience in play therapy, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy. In her free time, Daniela enjoys spending time in nature and with those close to her.

Desiree Garcia Graduated from the University of New Mexico with her B.A in Psychology & a Minor in Family Studies. She has a Master's degree in Professional Counseling from the University of New Mexico Highlands. Desiree works with children, adolescents, families & adults. Her primary modality is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which specializes in changing distorted thinking patterns, emotional responses & behaviors to more positive & self-fulfilling responses. Specializing in trauma care.
Annique Wagner-Hiester, LMSW
Annique views therapy as the opportunity to meet & interact with the self to promote self-awareness, balance, & facilitate growth. She works within a strength-based perspective while incorporating various approaches including, cognitive behavior therapy, family systems, psychodrama, mindfulness techniques & narrative explorations of the psyche; she works primarily with those 12 & up, couples & families experiencing trauma, abuse, grief & loss, anxiety, depression, anger, & change and transition.

Alexandra Herrera is a Licensed Master Social Worker, who graduated from NM Highlands University with a master’s in clinical social work.  Alexandra provides strength-based and trauma informed therapy to children (0-12), adolescents, adults, & families with a variety of mental health issues and socio-culture backgrounds.  Alexandra specializes in infant mental health, child-parent psychotherapy, & attachment-based family therapy.  She is also a certified Circle of Security Parent Facilitator.
Gabriel Garcia, LMHC
Gabriel is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who graduated from NM Highlands University with a B.A. in History & Minor in Native American & Hispano Cultural Studies and Master’s in Counseling. He has experience working with children, adolescents, couples, & families as well as people whom have struggled with addictions & severe mental illnesses such as depression, PTSD, & schizophrenia. He has previously worked as a court liaison for a DWI Drug Court Treatment addiction cessation program.
Denise M Raven, PhD
Denise Raven received her Master's in Social Work from New Mexico State University and her PhD in Social Work from Colorado State University. She has experience as a school social worker in urban and rural schools. Denise is a registered play therapist supervisor and works from a client centered approach. Denise uses play, sand tray play, guided imagery, EMDR and developmentally based movements in her work with children and adults.
Steve Shewmake, LMHC
Steve Shewmake is a LMHC who graduated with an M.A. in Professional Counseling from Amberton University in Garland, TX. He is a LADAC and certified Master Addiction Counselor. Steve graduated from Memphis Theological Seminary with an M.Div. degree, and has over 20 years experience as a pastor and as a chaplain to people of all faiths and backgrounds. He believes that the foundation to all therapeutic relationships is respect.
